Katsumade Galangal Seed

This product mainly contains volatile oil, whose main components are cinnamaldehyde, farnesol, cineole and humulene, etc. In addition, it also contains flavonoids such as quercetin and kaempferol, as well as diphenylheptanoids.

The decoction inhibits Staphylococcus aureus, Shigella, and Escherichia coli. At low concentrations, it stimulates isolated guinea pig intestines, whereas at high concentrations it becomes inhibitory.
