Antipyretic, analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects; stimulates cardiovascular and respiratory centers in small doses; high doses may cause convulsions; furanocoumarins show photosensitivity and antispasmodic effects; antibacterial and antifungal activity

Precautions

Contraindicated in blood deficiency with heat or yin deficiency with hyperactive yang headache
