Ingredients

This product mainly contains mangiferin, isomangiferin, chlorogenic acid, anthranols, flavonoids and β-sitosterol, etc.

Therapeutic Effects

The decoction has some diuretic activity. Isomangiferin has antitussive and expectorant effects; mangiferin has antibacterial and anti-herpes-simplex-virus effects; and chlorogenic acid stimulates the central nervous system. Shiwei may increase white blood cell counts reduced by radiotherapy or chemotherapy.
