Smoked Plum,Dark Plum

Dark Plum contains citric acid, malic acid, succinic acid, carbohydrates, etc.

1. Antimicrobial effect: in vitro experiments show that a 1:1 decoction of Dark Plum inhibits Bacillus anthracis, diphtheria and diphtheroid bacilli, Bacillus subtilis, staphylococcus (golden, lemon, white), and pneumococcus, but has no effect on group A or B streptococci.

2. Effect on roundworms: studies show that in a 5% Wumei pill (Wumei Wan) solution, roundworm activity is markedly restricted; in a 30% solution, roundworms become stationary; if moved to physiological saline, they gradually resume activity.

3. Choleretic effect: experiments prove that Dark Plum decoction promotes gallbladder contraction and has a choleretic effect, facilitating drainage of bile from the biliary tract, reducing and preventing biliary tract infection, and also helping reduce roundworm eggs remaining in the biliary tract to form gallstone cores, thereby reducing the occurrence of cholelithiasis.
