Poppy Capsule

The capsule contains alkaloids such as morphine, codeine, thebaine, noscapine, papaverine and papaveroline, as well as sedoheptulose, D-mannoheptulose, meso-inositol and erythritol, etc.

This product has analgesic, hypnotic, antitussive and respiratory-depressant effects; it can increase the tension of the gastrointestinal tract and its sphincters, reduce digestive juice secretion and thereby produce an antidiarrheal effect.
