This product mainly contains the water-soluble component lygodin, and also contains fatty oil, amino acids and flavonoids, etc. Among them, the cholagogic components are trans-p-coumaric acid and caffeic acid.

Therapeutic Effects

Intravenous administration of this preparation has diuretic and stone-expelling effects. The p-coumaric acid it contains has a choleretic effect. Haijinsha decoction inhibits Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Shigella flexneri, and Salmonella Typhi.
