What's Inside

Ingredients

Contains fatty oil, the main components of which are glycerides of oleic acid, linoleic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, and arachidic acid; and also contains sesamin, sesamolin, sesamol, sesamolin glycoside, planteose, and sesamose.

Therapeutic Effects

Black sesame is rich in unsaturated fatty acids, protein and minerals such as calcium, phosphorus and iron. It also contains various vitamins and nutrients such as sesamin, sesamol, sterols and lecithin, and has the effects of benefiting the liver, tonifying the kidney, nourishing blood, moistening dryness, darkening the hair and beautifying the appearance. The vitamin E contained in black sesame ranks first among plant foods. Vitamin E can promote cell division and delay cell ageing, and regular consumption can counteract or neutralize the accumulation of the ageing-causing substance 'free radicals' within cells, thereby playing a role in resisting ageing and prolonging life.
