It contains jinximei anthrone. Repeated silica gel column chromatography of the methanol extract gave 5 compounds, namely β-sitosterol (I), quercetin (II), quercetin-3-O-α-L-rhamnoside (III), hyperolactone C (IV) and dihydromyricetin (V), among which compounds I, II, III and V were isolated from this plant for the first time.
