Ingredients
The silkworm moth contains protein and free amino acids, the latter numbering over 20 kinds, but lacking alpha-aminoisobutyric acid, proline, and cystine; only the female moth contains ornithine, and it also contains fatty oil.
Therapeutic Effects
A peptide isolated from the body fluid of adult silkworm moths can inhibit the synthesis of DNA in the T cells of human and domestic animal serum, and may be used to treat autoimmune diseases.
