Ingredients

This herb mainly contains various alkaloids such as ligustrazine, phenolic substances such as ferulic acid, and various volatile oils such as ligustilide and cnidium lactone. It also contains vanillin, sterols, vitamins and so on.

Therapeutic Effects

The extract has the effects of dilating the coronary arteries, increasing coronary blood flow, lowering myocardial oxygen consumption, improving microcirculation, reducing platelet aggregation activity and inhibiting platelet aggregation. Ligustrazine can pass through the blood-brain barrier, is distributed in relatively large amounts in the brainstem, can counteract thrombus formation, and has a marked preventive effect on ischemic cerebrovascular disease.
