Ingredients
This product contains resin, volatile oil, gum and so on. The main component of the resin is resin acid. The main components of the volatile oil are p-isopropylbenzaldehyde, pinene and so on. The hydrolysis products of the gum are mainly arabinose, galactose and xylose.
Therapeutic Effects
The water infusion of this product has varying degrees of inhibitory effect on various pathogenic fungi. The oily fraction contained in Moyao can lower the blood cholesterol level of rabbits with hypercholesterolaemia and prevent the formation of atherosclerotic plaques in the arterial intima. The tincture has an astringent effect on mucous membranes and can be used for ulcers of the oral cavity and pharynx.
