Ingredients

This product contains safflower yellow and glycosides such as carthamin and neocarthamin. It also contains glycerides composed of fatty acids such as palmitic acid, arachidic acid and oleic acid.

Therapeutic Effects

The water decoction of this product has a marked excitatory effect on the uterus of experimental animals, and the effect is particularly marked in pregnant animals; in large doses it can cause uterine contractions to reach the point of spasm. This product can also mildly excite the heart, increase coronary blood flow and nutrient blood flow to the myocardium, inhibit platelet aggregation and enhance fibrinolytic enzyme activity.
