Ingredients

This product mainly contains bile acids, the principal components being ursodeoxycholic acid, chenodeoxycholic acid, and tauroursodeoxycholic acid, among others. It also contains bile pigments such as bilirubin, as well as proteins, cholesterol, fats, and phosphorus-containing substances.

Therapeutic Effects

This product can reduce myocardial oxygen consumption and has antiarrhythmic effects. The bile acids it contains can promote bile secretion. Chenodeoxycholic acid can enhance the ability of bile to dissolve cholesterol and reduce cholesterol biosynthesis. Ursodeoxycholic acid has lipid-lowering and hypoglycemic effects. In addition, it also has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antiallergic, antitussive, expectorant, digestive-aiding, hypotensive, and detoxifying effects.

Precautions

Contraindicated in deficiency syndromes.
