Ingredients

This product contains stigmasterol, ursolic acid, oleanolic acid, ursolic acid, β-sitosterol, β-sitosterol-D-glucoside, p-coumaric acid, and other constituents.

Therapeutic Effects

This product has antitumor activity. Its antibacterial effect in vitro is not marked, showing only weak activity against Staphylococcus aureus and dysentery bacilli; only high-concentration decoctions can inhibit Pseudomonas aeruginosa, typhoid bacilli, and Proteus species. It can enhance leukocyte phagocytosis and has anti-inflammatory effects.
