Ingredients

The whole dandelion herb contains taraxasterol, choline, inulin, pectin, and other constituents.

Therapeutic Effects

The decoction or infusion of this product strongly inhibits Staphylococcus aureus and hemolytic streptococci, and has certain inhibitory effects against pneumococci, meningococci, diphtheria bacilli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Proteus, dysentery bacilli, typhoid bacilli, and Micrococcus catarrhalis. It can inhibit gastric acid secretion and has anti-ulcer and gastric mucosal protective effects. Its extract can also antagonize endotoxins.

Precautions

Large doses may cause mild diarrhea.
