Ingredients

It contains alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, phenols, gallic acid, and other constituents.

Therapeutic Effects

This product inhibits Staphylococcus aureus, dysentery bacilli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, typhoid bacilli, Escherichia coli, and others. The gallic acid it contains also has an antiasthmatic effect.

Precautions

Contraindicated during pregnancy; use with caution in the elderly, the frail, or those with qi deficiency.
