Ingredients

The fruit contains abundant vitamin C. It also contains tannins, including glucogallin, gallic acid, ellagic acid, corilagin, chebulagic acid, chebulinic acid, chebulic acid, and 3,6-digalloyl glucose. The dried fruit contains mucic acid. The pericarp contains phenolic acids such as gallic acid and related acids. The seeds contain about 26% fixed oil, including linolenic acid, linoleic acid, oleic acid, stearic acid, palmitic acid, myristic acid, and others.

Therapeutic Effects

This product inhibits Staphylococcus aureus, typhoid bacilli, and dysentery bacilli. Its alcoholic extract can increase glycogen levels in necrotic myocardium. It also has a certain lipid-lowering effect.

Precautions

Use with caution in patients with deficiency-cold of the spleen and stomach.
